This is one of the albums that I borrowed from my Mum and never actually gave it back again! This album spawned some big hits including Summer of '69, Heaven and (Everything I Do) I Do It For You. ***Summer of '69*** This is my favourite track from the album. It is a quite fast-paced rocky song with some heavy guitar backing. This is a really radio-friendly song and its relatively upbeat tempo makes it fun to listen to. This is a great choice for an album opener. ***Straight From The Heart*** This track slows things down a lot as it is a mid-tempo song that is considerably slower than the previous offering. It starts off with piano-type ... Read the complete review

You know me. Or maybe you don't. Well, either way ? I love my music, now more than ever. So it's not surprising when I wonder over to my CD rack of 130+ CDs and pick out one to immortalise in a opinion on our esteemed opinion site. "But Bryan Adams?" I hear you cry. Maybe he has been apologised for by Canada (in South Park anyway), but hear my derision peasants. This is my opinion and while I'm in centre stage ? all other opinions are void. Except that my ego is far too big. But ah well. Bryan Adams, that Canadian bloke with the guitar and the croony ballads ? he's not really any good is he? Well actually, he ain't half bad. But ... This is a really good album. I like every single song on it especially Run to you and Summer of 69 but I suppose everybody will have their own favourite tracks. I am generally a dance and trance music fan but when Summer of 69 comes on when I'm out everybody just goes crazy. I'm not a great fan of his newer stuff but the old stuff is just amazing. This particular selection contains all of the songs I like which is why I bought it. ... Read the complete review

I have been a Bryan Adams fan for about 17 years now. Along with my sister we have been to see him 8 times, at Wembley Arena, Hyde Park and Brighton. He is fantastic live and I have most of his CD's. This review is on my favourite album - So Far So Good. The Song List... I will list these as there are only 14 and it may sway people to try the album if they recognise one of them that they like. 1. Summer of 69 2. Straight from the heart 3. It's only love 4. Can't stop this thing we started 5. Do I have to say the words? 6. This time 7. Run to you 8. Heaven 9. Cuts like a knife 10. Everything I ... Read the complete review

Bryan Adams was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada in 1959 and is classed as a soft rock singer. His 1991 hit single "Everything I do I do It For You" taken from the soundtrack of the film "Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves" spent a record 16 weeks at number one in the UK charts until after a while even Bryan Adams himself said that he was starting to get fed up with it! His other great songs, in my opinion, that appear on this album are "Heaven", "Somebody", "Please Forgive Me", "Run To You" and "Can't Stop This Thing We Started" I have deliberately left out "It's Only ...
