... the fantastic vocals. A really catchy ballad. SNOWDEN and THE STORM are similiar tracks in that they start slow and build towards a faster paced finish. Like the titles of the song, the music is energetic and lively. WALK IN THE FIRE is my favourite album on the track containing fantastic lyrics. The vocals are superb and really bring the song to life while the guitar really gives the music an edge ONE OF THESE DAYS and SOMEDAY SOON are gentle songs more lyric based than music. Doves' album Some Cities is by a three man pop rock band from Salford The album contains eleven tracks varying from indie rock to ballads. SOME CITIES opens the album with a great look at their lifes in Salford. Fantastic lyrics in this song and a good opener. BLACK AND WHITE TOWN is a more fast paced track with a lot of energy. The lyrics once more reflect on their home life. Good vocals support the music. ALMOST FORGOT MYSELF is a slower song with a really good guitar beat combined with the fantastic vocals. A really catchy ballad. SNOWDEN and THE STORM are similiar tracks in that they start slow and build towards a ...  Read the complete review

Fantastic poppy tracks, full of humour and excellent music Doesn't flow like an album, due to it being a compilation.

New Funky and Prince!! Not every1 likes Prince!!

Great songs, excellent arrangements, Prince in excellent form Few people got the chance to hear it, because it was so poorly marketed

Should appeal to people who liked them on The X Factor Most of the tracks are covers, which will disappoint some people

Musicianship, vocals, Only twelve tracks??
