Advantages: packed with nostalgia

Disadvantages: bit of an aquired taste

I am not a great fan of the ‘sisters’, but sometimes, I am in the mood for something a little more goth than metal, and no-one fits the bill quite like these.
This album is basically a collection of the bands first six Eps, and I am sure that for true Sisters Of Mercy fans there is plenty of nostalgia to be found.
Some tracks included are ‘Alice’. ‘Floorshow’ ‘Heartland’ and ‘Temple Of Love’.
There is an intensity about Sisters Of Mercy, that may or not be real, but when you’re listening to the music, you don’t really care either way.
Put on the CD, lay back, and remember the days when goth was good.
