Advantages: more softer songs

Disadvantages: a bit too sweet

Something to remember is a compilation album by Madonna released in the year 1995. The album is totally different than her previous albums and contains more ballads, but there are also three new songs and some old songs not previously appeared on her albums. These are softer songs of Madonna. Below is a discussion of some songs:

I Want You
I want you is the first song on the album and begins with a kind of knocking sound after another and quickly an electro beat begins to play. It has a somewhat vague beginning and the song remains in a slow tempo. You hear violins in the background and a sultry voice of Madonna. It is a kind of ballad only by the obvious beat sounds a little harder this time. Not one of my favorites.

I'll Remember
This song begins on a much happier note and a good guitar beat. Madonna's voice still sounds soft, but what goes halfway through the song a little harder. The song remains at a mid tempo, but it is certainly contagious which gradually the drum emerges. Definitely a lot better than the first number.

Crazy for You
Crazy for you is a slower ballad with the use of the guitar and even a bit of Spanish influence. It remains a slow song with Madonna overall a soft voice. The song feels a lot more personal and I like the voice of Madonna certainly at this song. Certainly not wrong.

Live to Tell
Llive to tell begins somewhat dramatic but in a gentle way with the drums and especially here and there like electro pop sounds. It's a classic Madonna and I like this song. It is a calm song but again Madonna shows another side of her. The song has much more soul and substance, and it sounds certainly not wrong.

Forbidden Love
Forbidden Love by Madonna yet again goes back to the sound like the Erotica album. It is a somewhat sultry song and especially the voice of Madonna sounds tempting and soft. It is about love and you get lyrics like 'In your arms and in your eyes. " The quietly sultry song with no clear beat and where it is more about the voice of Madonna.

Conclusion

This album shows Madonna clearly a softer and sensual side of her. For this album she had more of a particularly shocking and sexual image. The song certainly shows a softer side of her and there are mainly ballads on this album. No over-produced tracks with an obvious beat, but more laid back songs that are sure nice to hear. Not a bad album, but here and there a bit too sweet.
