Sparkle And Fade - Everclear

Rating:
beautiful, Everclear are an amazing band, not only on their recordings, but also live (theirs is certainly one of the best gigs i've ever been to), and with songs that really do say something (the line just another overdose in heroin girl is taken from when someone art alexakis knew (possibly his brother) died of an overdose, and he overheard the policeman in charge saying this). The album is very emotionally charged, and i think the ability to induce emotion is one that very few artists posess today, so this is definately highly reccomended! ...

Everclear gets away with creating a song so similar to "Everything to Everyone" because it is prodcued in a very different style. The track is softer, the beat is progressive instead of sing-song and instead of outright saying that someone is trying to be everything to everyone, it just mocks the fakeness of people by saying in a not so covered way "I wish I could be normal like you." "I Will Buy You A New Life" goes through all of the promises a man with limited means will make to a ...
