For those who haven't guessed already is a review of Alicia Keys album "Songs In A Minor". As soon as I heard her debut single from the album "Fallin'" I knew I had to go out and buy it.
Alicia Keys is one of the most talented upcoming female singers around at the moment. This album mixes slow romantic songs with modern upbeat songs. Another thing I like about the album is that its not full of Male Bashing lyrics which seems to be the subject of the day for most female artists these days.
One of my favourite songs on the album is called "Girlfriend" which was number one in the states.
Alicia has almost written every song on the album and has only had assistance in changing some of the lyrics rather than writing songs for her.
If you are looking for an album to chill out to, smooch with a lover, or put you in a relaxed calming state of mind this is for you.
The album is currently riding high in the UK Album charts and hopefully will reach number one so we hear more of her.
