This was THE THE's second album - but was more commercial and succesful. It was originally released in 1983 but has recently been re-packaged and remastered. The tracks have a strong beat and guitar line. Each song is distinctive in its own right. My personal faourite has to be "This is the Day" - the lyrics are so poetic and all about regret and how things can change if you want them to - well that's how I interpret it anyway. the thing I love on this track is the accordian style piano which is such a key part of the tune.
