After Seal's success in the 1990's with hits like 'Killer', 'Crazy' and 'Kiss From A Rose', he seemed to disappear from the charts and I honestly thought he had stopped making music. The album 'Soul' is his latest offering and it contains cover versions of eleven soul songs (so not the most imaginative title for an album, but at least you know what you're getting!). When I first heard it was a cover versions album I rolled my eyes and thought "Oh no, not another one!", but I'm a fan of soul music and I think Seal has an amazing voice, which I was confident would be able to do these classic songs justice.
