Toni Iordache was a superb cimbalom player, if you aren't aware what one is, I will do my best to explain. It's a frame with four legs, a dampening pedal and strings across the top which are generally hit with beaters that look like a larger version of the kind that would be used to play a glockenspiel. The cymbalom is used in music throughout the eastern of Europe and the mediterranean but the ones that are used today are generally considered to be Hungarian, due to József Schunda developing the instrument.
