You Had It Coming - Jeff Beck
Jeff Beck continuing to evolve.
What a poorly chosen direction.
The Silent Circus - Between The Buried And Me
Moving more towards a sound of their own, before it ultimately collapses.
Still too much being squeezed into each song, at significant cost to the enjoyment.
Situation Dangerous - Bozzio Levin Stevens
Pretty In Black - The Raveonettes
Pop - 2005
Lust Lust Lust - Raveonettes
Pop - 2007
Jeff - Jeff Beck
Techno rhythms have been toned down.
Hip hop and electronic elements still lead the way, and are rubbish.
Darwin - Banco del Mutuo Soccorso
Perfects the chamber prog style, and calms down some of the structural insanity.
Still only for hardcore prog fans.
Chain Gang Of Love - Raveonettes
Pop - 2003
Between The Buried And Me - Between The Buried And Me
Attempts to be something different.
Awkward results.
Alaska - Between The Buried And Me
More coherent and structured, influences start to merge together rather than oppose.
Still threatens to be too heavy for emo fans, and too emo for metalheads.
