"Voice Of Jamaica" was released in 1993 as the third album from the Reggae-Dancehall artist B Buju Banton On the record he gets assistance from the likes of Beres Hammond, Wayne Wonder and even Busta Rhymes as he tried to get his music out to a wider range of listeners outside his homeland of the country named in the title of the LP. 1. "Searching" The album gets off to a very nice start as we get a little progression from the sort of thing heard on his two 1992 releases. Buju Banton is undoubtedly one of the greatest reggae artists ever. This album possibly more than any of his others highlights his hard grating yet at the same time lyrical voice. The two best tracks on this album are undoubtedly "Murderer" and "Champion". It is on "Till I am Laid" to rest that his voice mixes rastafarism with African drums, vocal harmonising and rap to create something which is just as unique as anything Bobby Marley has produced.
