It is very calm and benign, the epitome for philosophical wisdom from centuries past, being less impassioned than the Force theme while carrying just as much gravitas to that theme’s basic philosophy. Telling of the popularity of the theme it also made a cameo appearance in E.T. a couple of year later and has gained a little cult following after that. Some new themes not as strong, early scenes fairly dull and latter an half editorial mess Good variety of quality, recognisable tracks, perfect accompaniment to the film, cheap to buy None Perfection in film scoring: works in film and works just as well alone Scarcity of album very unfortunate A great fantasy adventure score with a lots of rich lyricism. A bad reputation for being saccharine. Variety of sounds and styles, The songs all feature in the film, Mixture of well known and lesser known songs/artists A large number of slow tempo songs Music to take your clothers off to! Some nice songs and some nice orchestral arrangements. Nasal voice of Jenkins, High notes are sometimes too loud and painful on the ears, tacky sounds.
