Ok cards on the table, the Cocteau Twins are, without a doubt, no ifs, no buts, no competition, my all time favourite band, fact. I first heard the Cocteau's back in 1986, and altho hundreds of other artists have entered my music collection since then, the Cocteau's are the only ones that I have continued to buy and listen to consistently over that time. I'll attempt a little bit of history here, altho to me the Cocteau's music is the most important thing, I've never obsessed over their every movement or personal development so my knowledge here is a little sketchy to say the least. It's catchy, simplistic, unpretentious and jolly 
It's completely without credibility and it's very repetitive Excellent track, Everybody likes it, Classic anthem No real disadvantages A blend of intricate beats, varied jazzy melodies and experimental soundscapes. Over-tweaking disrupts the ambience occasionally. No mainstream appeal. Some tracks don't work.
