Hmmm, no section for this album. Static-X have really just broken on to the scene in a huge way with their massively powerful song ‘Black and White’. This has been in the top 10 most requested songs on K! TV for a few weeks now, which means that this bands are destined for big things. The reason this band first caught my eye is because of their collaboration with Dead Prez in the huge hip-hop track ‘Hip Hop’. Giving the song a new edge, I advise you to download it if you can find it anywhere. I downloaded quite a few songs by this band before I felt brave enough to go and burn some of my hard earned wages on it, I sometimes wonder about the ...

before crashing in again. It?s at its best in the middle! 8/10 <Black and white> Certain sources have told me that this is the latest Static-X single, even though I haven?t heard it on the radio or anything. It starts with a slightly tuneless riff, that doesn?t really catch my imagination, and then breaks into slightly untuned singing. However, the chorus is catchy, and from a metal perspective has a great tune, and I can imagine singing along to in at a rock club! Despite a slightly boring instrumental bridge in the middle, the song doesn?t seem to go anywhere, but for me that doesn?t matter because it has a great tune! 9/10 <Otsego undead> A rapid ...

Now I first heard about Static-X through a friend. Then I saw their video “I’m with Stupid” on MTV’s Return of the Rock. At first I didn’t think much of it but after a while it was rather catchy. I enjoyed Wayne Static’s gibberish like singing. So I borrowed the CD from a friend. Now before you start to think that Static-X’s album is just a bunch of song s that you cant understand that isn’t the case. There are many songs that you can actually understand. Also if you look at the lyrics some of the gibberish actually makes out words. Now I enjoyed many songs on this album but some things put this album down are the song ...
