This has been in the top 10 most requested songs on K! TV for a few weeks now, which means that this bands are destined for big things. It?s at its best in the middle! 8/10 <Black and white> Certain sources have told me that this is the latest Static-X single, even though I haven?t heard it on the radio or anything. It starts with a slightly tuneless riff, that doesn?t really catch my imagination, and then breaks into slightly untuned singing. However, the chorus is catchy, and from a metal perspective has a great tune, and I can imagine singing along to in at a rock club! Now I first heard about Static-X through a friend. Then I saw their video “I’m with Stupid” on MTV’s Return of the Rock. At first I didn’t think much of it but after a while it was rather catchy. I enjoyed Wayne Static’s gibberish like singing. So I borrowed the CD from a friend. Now before you start to think that Static-X’s album is just a bunch of song s that you cant understand that isn’t the case. There are many songs that you can actually understand.
