'Start Something' is Welsh Rock band Lost Prophets successful second studio album which went Platinum in the UK having sold over a hundred thousand copies. A grand total of five singles were released from this album, four of which having reached the Top 20 in the UK, and the fifth and final having just missed out on reaching the Top 40, peaking at Number 42. The album is the least commercially successful of the three that the band have released with the other two classified Gold having both sold in excess of 200 000 copies in the UK alone. Although the album is the least commercially successful of the three that the band have released, it is by no means a bad album, in ... Read the complete review

Lostprophets are an amazing band and if you dont agree then this album should convince you. Songs like Last Train Home are sing along tunes whereas songs like "to hell we ride" are guitar thrasing rock songs. The song "burn burn" is a rallying call and the lyrics are the pinnacle of their song writing i think. The song "goodbye tonight" and "last summer" are laid back summery sing along tunes. This album went platinum and reached number 4 in the uk charts after release. Last train home was featured on NFL street and "to hell we ride" was on Need for speed underground, but the name was changed to ... Read the complete review

Earlier this month The Lostprophets released the follow up to their 2001 debut album The Fake Sound Of Progress. The Swansea Indie Rock band had burst onto the scene with a very impressive debut album and it?s taken them almost three years to follow that up. However follow it up they have and with a very impressive second album that I?d almost go as far to say is actually better than the debut effort. But where have the band come from. Well starting up back in 1997 the Swansea based Indie Rockers burst onto the scene with their first single and a mini album that was heralded as the next ... Read the complete review

Well well well, the lost prophets have indeed started something good! I first came across this album when i was travelling back home with my boyfriend in his car and we were kinda bored of the same old sound of the 'tyres against the road'. We first listened to a few albums when he then put the lost prophets album on and i loved every moment of it! Because of him i bought the album the next day! The prophets themselves: Member 1: Ian Watkins Member 2: Jamie Oliver Member 3: Mike Lewis Member 4: Lee Gaze Member 5: Stuart Richardson Member 6: Mike Chiplin The album itself contains twelve tracks ... As ever, first I must apologise for my utter lack of taste when it comes to titles for these things, they have a terrible effect on me. Well here we are again, this review writing could well prove to be addictive. In case you have absolutely no idea what I?m waffling on about then don?t worry, I doubt you?re in the minority. Erm, the jist of that section was that this is my second review which in itself isn?t that interesting and so doesn?t really deserve to be mentioned but I was a little stuck for an opening sentence when inspiration struck me and I thought, ?why not make this into a way to get people to read your other ...
