Mr Hudson is probably best known for his smash hits Supernova and Young Forever tracks which her colabarated on with Kanye West and Jay Z who are both huge names in the music business which probably added to the songs success' and after hearing those songs I found myself wondering what his album would be like and decided to go out and buy it for myself. Renamed in 2009 Mr Hudson was formally known as Mr Hudson & The Library). I have to admit I have not heard much about this artist prior to his appearance on Alan Carr's Chatty Man following the release of Supernova ft Kanye West. From this moment on i was intrigued and decided to buy his new album. Regrettably it is not an album i have come to love and has found a place at the back of my shelf. The first 2 songs 'Supernova' and 'White Lies' are the best of a bad bunch. The rest of the album includes fairly average 'B side' songs - which personally i don't think will guarantee another hit like the success Mr Hudson has had with 'Supernova'. I set myself a target to review the latest album by every artist taking part in this year's Glastonbury, I expected to come out with a variety of reviews - unfortunately most of them have been wandering around the 2/3 star zone. I knew however, that there would be some stinkers - music that I'd never usually touch with a barge pole. This last statement pretty much sums up this album, from start to finish it's awful.
