Advantages: The Doors
Disadvantages: Not the best album
"Strange Days" is the second album released by the band "The Doors". It came out in 1967.
Despite good sales, this was never the best selling album and no single really made it top of the charts.
My favourite song in "When the music's over" which for many critics already had in itself the elements which would lead to the tragic death of Jim Morrison.
There is an eerie feeling along the album,a nd at the same time the great voice of Jim Morrison which breaks it.
The full list of the songs is the following.
"Strange Days" - 3:11
"You're Lost Little Girl" - 3:03
"Love Me Two Times" - 3:18
"Unhappy Girl" - 2:02
"Horse Latitudes" - 1:37
"Moonlight Drive" - 3:05
"People Are Strange" - 2:13
"My Eyes Have Seen You" - 2:32
"I Can't See Your Face in My Mind" - 3:26
"When the Music's Over" - 11:00
The cover of the album is quite famous with some people from the circus including a dwarf playing in the streets of New york.
The other song I like very much is "People are strange" Jim Morrison plays with the meaning of the English words "strange" and "stranger". Again, the sense of alienation of the rock star was to be found in this song.
Summary: Strange days
