Advantages: most the songs are great
Disadvantages: none
Stranger than fiction was bad religions 8th studio album and there first release under there new signing at Atlantic records. There previous album had been great, and now they were under a much larger record company most people thought this album would be even better, however there were of course concerns that they would become too commercialised and that they would loose their flare, however this wasn't the case at all.
The first song of the album is incomplete, it gets the album under way in a spectacular fashion, this is a quite fast and very upbeat song, his vocals are top notch and some of the best iv heard of the whole 7 albums previous to this one, perhaps the influence of the new record label.
Better off dead is one of my favourite bad religion songs of all time. I just love how it starts off in such a depressing singing style rather than the upbeat fast style their others start in. But then it really kicks in and the drums get faster, the guitar gets faster and the singing does too, its this change in pace throughout the song that works so well and that's why its one of my favourite songs.
21st century boy is another great one, it starts off very well but I think the main thing I like about this song is how the guitar really taken control of the song and it's the singing that fits in around it in the versus, and then the chorus is also very catchy too, its one of their most rockier songs and its very good.

This album was one of their most successful ones to date, and theres a reason for that, it contains some of their best songs to date as well. About 5 or 6 songs of this album are in my top bad religion songs of all time, whereas there is usually just one or two off most their albums so I think that sums up how good this album was.
Summary: some of their finest work
