Werk 80 Vol.1 - Atrocity
Industrial style adapts well to the eighties electro pop originals.
Rather pointless.
Twilight - Bathory
Brilliant atmosphere and excellent fusion of metal with neofolk.
Too slow and atmospheric for old-school Bathory fans.
Dreamboat Annie - Heart
Great pieces of music, singing, lyrics, instrumentals
Might be a touch too heavy for some
The Hits: Parental Advisory - Kelis
R&B & Soul - Soul - 2008
Story: 10th Anniversary - Amorphis
Lots of good songs from four albums, displaying the band's variety and skill.
Nothing from 'Privilege of Evil,' and some of the choices are a bit strange.
Dreams Like Deserts - Aura Noir
Classic early black metal...
...that arrived ten years too late.
Da Derrty Versions: The Reinvention - Nelly
Original take on older material
A few track could have been used instead of what was
Watch The Sun - Headcharger
An excellent rock album which integrates brilliantly elements of hardcore and metal.
May be a little too heavy and hard hitting for some.
Chapters - Amorphis
A better collection than 'Story.'
Suffers from the same drawbacks as that earlier release.
Those Whose Past Is Immortal - Astrofaes
Sophisticated black metal incorporating the best elements from various off-shoots.
Really bad production.
