Advantages: Very agressive and a reflexion of Christina's new style. The little book's pictures!!!
Disadvantages: Gets boring, and the ballads are weak...
I love pop and hip-hop,so I thought this would be a great album, but how wrong was I...
It's not bad, but I think Christina was paranoic when she recorded This album:2 tracks are wasted introducing herself and her Karmes"What if I'm not virgin..."Who cares, just start singing!!!
On the other side, some songs are great, like "Dirrty" an edgy hip-hop song with moderated suggestive lyrics, "Fighter" another edgy agressive song with very sticky lyrics and beat, and "Can't Hold Us Down" a very smart song about women disadvantage in society (and features Lil' Kim rapping :)).
There are also good, soulful, deep ballads, like "Beautiful", which, although repetitive, is made up by Christina's beautiful voice.Another good ballad is "Keep On Singin' My Song" which is very uplifty.Play it when you're depressed.
Everything seems to be OK to this point, but I've only reviewed 7 songs out of 20!!!Those other 13 are awfully boring or plainly pointless to hear, maybe 'cause of the lyrics, maybe because they're boring, just to mention nightmares like "Cruz"...
This is not the best from Aguilera (remember the fun sticky "Mi Reflejo" Christina?well, that's the one I want back!
One last suggestion:don't buy it,download "Dirrty", "Fighter", and "Beautiful" The best songs!
Summary: Download the good tracks. It's not worth to buy it...
