Advantages: Amazingly strong songs, variety of musical styles

Disadvantages: Possibly too many interludes?

This album was the first Christina Aguilera album I bought. I never bothered with her first one, but after hearing hits like Dirrty, Beautiful and Fighter I decided to take the plunge.

This album is an epic: with 20 tracks it's like a journey through Christina's life. All the songs are very different and you really feel like you've experienced something good once the album's finished!

Track Listing

1. Stripped Pt.1 - Nice intro, begins the album well.

2. Can't Hold Us Down - Hit single featuring Lil' Kim. Great song, with a strong RnB feel and rap.

3. Walk Away - Good song about trying to leave a bad relationship.

4. Fighter - My favourite song on this album. It's a rock song really, with lots of guitar riffs.

5. Primer Amor (interlude) - Short interlude that leads into the next section of the album.

6. Infatuation - This song has a Latino feel.

7. Love's Embrace (interlude) - Similar to previous interlude (not sure why there are two of these so close together)

8. Loving Me For Me - A gentle song that sees Christina singing more softly, about finding a relationship that's right.

9. Impossible - This one features Alicia Keys and has a strong piano element.

10. Underappreciated - Has a bit of a Motown feel.

11. Beautiful - As the name suggests, a beautiful ballad. One to listen to when you're feeling down.

12. Make Over - Sounds a little bit like Sugababes' Overload.

13. Cruz - Featuring Linda Perry, this is a reflective ballad.

14. Soar - A really uplifting, positive song.

15. Get Mine, Get Yours - Quite a naughty and raunchy song, paves the way for the one following it!

16. Dirrty - This song is a classic! Unmistakably catchy and makes me want to dance. I don't normally like rap but I love Redman's bit towards the end.

17. Stripped Pt.2 - Another short interlude.

18. The Voice Within - Another ballad, this one's awesome too.

19. I'm OK - This song is obviously personal and quite painful - it's hard to listen to sometimes. Very good though.

20. Keep On Singing My Song - A positive, reflective song to end the album with.

The amazing thing about this album is that there are so many musical styles. There's rock, pop, RnB, Latin beats, ballads... everything! It's an album you can listen to all in one go, letting it take you on a journey, or pick one or two songs that fit your mood. Far beyond anything that most pop artists can produce.

Amazing.
