This album was the first Christina Aguilera album I bought. I never bothered with her first one, but after hearing hits like Dirrty, Beautiful and Fighter I decided to take the plunge. This album is an epic: with 20 tracks it's like a journey through Christina's life. All the songs are very different and you really feel like you've ... Read the complete review

Released in 2002, Stripped is the second album of the amazing singer Christina Aguilera. It reached both the UK's and USA's top two in the album charts, was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album, and came in at number 10 in the USA and number 3 in the UK of top selling albums of the year. It has sold over 4.1 million copies in the USA and over 1.5 ... Read the complete review

It was a record selling album when it came out and some tracks got well overplayed - I did get bored of hearing it for a while, but there are more tracks I find worth listening to than just the singles hits!!!! The case is quite simple a black and white photo and the name is all that's on the cover - quite simple and classic ... Read the complete review

There are 20 tracks on this album, but this is actually a bit misleading as some of them are short instrumental-heavy "interludes" that are presumably included to break up the album but I find totally pointless to be honest. I'll gloss over those in this review as I don't count them as proper tracks as such. ***Can't Hold Us ... Read the complete review

Christina Aguilera is like marmite, you either love her or hate her and I for one love her. Her Stripped CD was released in 2002 and was her way of telling the world that she was all grown up and not just another pop princess. This album was known for being such a change from her 'Disney Club' look, and showed a more grown up raunchy ... Read the complete review

I felt compelled to review this, as a staunch loather of most of her music. I always say, why sing one note, when you can sing twelve. Yes I know she can sing and she can hold a crowd, but she overdoes it. Who is she: US singer, former star of The Disney Club, amazing vocal range. Dresses in a questionable ... I bought this album years ago after my friend had it playing in her car and I instantly loved it, it was different, unique and fun! i must say, it was at the time that 'Dirty' was released and was a great song, now its overplayed and it drives me mad now. Its the only song I tend to skip on the album The album begins with a short ... Read the complete review

*Introduction* Christina Aguilera has molded herself from a pop princess to a soul diva in a few short years. Stripped, released in October 2002 was the album that launched her to superstardom. The album also brought her critical acclaim that she hadnt seen on her previous albums. She worked with a wide range of producers on ... Read the complete review

*INTRODUCTION* I do like Christina. Obviously, not as much as I adore her former Mickey mouse Club co-star and general arch nemesis Britney Spears, but Christina stands out in the world of pop as the voice and talent of her generation. Back in 1999, in the midst of the bubblegum pop explosion fronted by NSYNC, the Backstreet ... Read the complete review

When i first came across Christina's new material, in 2002, when she released her single, "Dirrty" the first word that came to my mind was "Tart". And i think that's what everyone was thinking at that time, because it was the most overly-sexual thing she had done in her career. However, after my step-sister purchased the album ... I love pop and hip-hop,so I thought this would be a great album, but how wrong was I... It's not bad, but I think Christina was paranoic when she recorded This album:2 tracks are wasted introducing herself and her Karmes"What if I'm not virgin..."Who cares, just start singing!!! After the much hugely success of her debut album titled 'CHRISTINA AGUILERA', NO 1 album everywhere in the world, three years on she has brought an album out which only showcases how much stronger her phenomenal distinctive strong voice has got, but also each song on the album is different sounding. Like one song on the album called 'FIGHTER' is a ... Read the complete review

Christina has done it. Not many people can manage what she has done. She has turned her image round and become the pop diva we all wanted. From genie in a bottle to dirty her voice has grown up and so have her songs. This album is a far cry from the early years of U.S pop when Britney and Christina were battling it out, at that point the ... Read the complete review

I?ve decided to write this review because I?ve had this album for quite some time now, but I still listen to it frequently, unlike some albums that I?ve brought in the past and have left to gather dust on the shelf after a couple of weeks. After a long break(from music but not the media)Christina Aguilera returns with a somewhat creative wonder in the form of her second proper album 'Stripped'.If your'e expecting to find the sweet polished pop of her first release 'Genie in a bottle' then you'll be disapointed.Predictably Ms.Aguilera wants her ... Christina Aguilera is always been victimised because of her "different" dress style. This is a lot better than her other albums. I think in this one she has finally "grown up" providing a more and in some cases "club music scene" Christina isn't my favourite artist, but i like her voice as its different ... Pop Stars The Rivals seemed to many a bit of a joke and they were not really taken very seiriously. But this album there is nothing funny about it. They first got our attention with the incredibly catchy electro-rock single SOUND OF THE UNDERGROUD, they kept it up with their second single which was equally catchy and 80's inspired ... There are a lot of opinions around of Christina Aguilera, not least ones, which arose to her recent release of Dirrty. How long ago was it that Christina was often compared to Miss Spears. Pops number 2 princess. Well this album shows Christina in new light, taking her away from past stereotyping. A friend recommended this album to me. I ... Read the complete review
