Super Taranta! - Gogol Bordello

Okay, where to start! Gogol Bordello are a band I first discovered when they accompanied Madonna's performance on, I think, Live Earth. And I'm not a big Moadonna fan, but I thought the guys from Gogol Bordello were amazing and so obviously I had to look them up! Basically, the band, formed in 1999, hails from New York, although many members are orignally from Eastern Europe. Super Taranta is the 4th and most recent album by Gogol Bordello, released in 2007 by Side One Dummy. The band continues with their more polished sound that was evident on Underdog World Strike, I find the music less eclectic than on the previous album but the lyrics in several cases are even better. The best song without a doubt is American Wedding where the singer shows his disappointment at an American Wedding asking "Have you ever been to an American Wedding? Where is the vodka?
