They're strong lyrics and make this such a catchy tune many relate to and love. The lyrics of this album ar...more

Rating:

I first listened to some of Brian McKnight's tracks on the late night RnB show on radio and was intrigued by his smooth voice and great vocals with his ability to hit high notes in some of his most popular tracks like 'Love of My Life' which has to be one of his best signature tracks so far.. I did not hesitate to add this album to my collection of RnB albums, it is a lovely chilled out album with RnB & Soul tracks which is great to relax to and unwind. **Introduction** As you may know I like to review as many albums as possible from my favourite artists (I have seen him Live), Brian McKnight is one of the biggest names in the R&B genre over the last ten years and I have decided to do another review of one of his albums and This is my fourth review of a Brian McKnight album and there will be more to come over the next couple of weeks. **Superhero** I am reviewing his 2001 release Superhero. War Of The Worlds: Bad Astronaut Vs Armchair Martian - Bad Astronaut Vs Armchair Martian
Armchair Martian temper Bad Astronaut's pop direction. Bad Astronaut exacerbate Armchair Martian's irritating ballads.

Houston We Have A Drinking Problem - Bad Astronaut
Some melodic and sad elements. Dominated by less impressive pop rock.

Ego Trippin' - Snoop Dogg
Lots of hits A few weaker tracks

Coming Attractions - Adrian Belew
If you were desperate for an Adrian Belew release in 2000. Unfinished, disappointing new songs and pointlessly reproduced old ones.

Chthonic Chronicles - Bal Sagoth
The band finally gets it together, and perfects its distinctive sound. Not easily accessible.

Battle Magic - Bal Sagoth
Continuing to re-define the sound. I'm not so fond of the direction change.

Atlantis Ascendant - Bal Sagoth
More of the same. More of the same.

Acrophobe - Bad Astronaut
Mostly successful mix of pop, rock and light punk without any of the bad bits. When it slides into pop punk territory, sick bags may be required.

The Power Cosmic - Bal Sagoth
Interesting, temporary change of direction. Metal instruments now entirely confined to background duty.
