acts is any kind of longevity in the public arena. Indeed, it s very often unusual for these groups to pull together one studio album. So it s testament to M Milk Inc s appeal that they ve managed to notch up five studio albums over a career that is now into its twelfth year. Predominantly popular in their native Belgium, the group experienced some success in the UK in 2002 with a couple of top ten singles, but have seen the greatest success in the familiarity of the Euro dance/trance scene. The group essentially comprises vocalist Linda Mertens and producers Regi Penxten and Filip Vandueren. Mertens vocals are certainly the most accomplished that you might hear, but ...
Double Cream - Milk Inc.A big pint of eurodance (322 words)
by benlepensive - written on 23/02/09 (Useful, 28 readings)
I have always liked this group, they have not had much success over here, yet remain a force to be contended with in Belgium. Their unique brand of vocal based euro trance always manages to light up my evenings. This is one of their earlier releases. Who are they: Belgium based dance act, with five studio albums under their belt. On this album: Head for the superb 'In My Eyes' which is a beastly little dance number. A fine set of female vocals shape the song and it reaches a peak time chorus where she shrieks 'the light still shines on me' over a frantic synth riff. This gave them a big UK hit and is similar to the kind of music Ian van Dahl and ...

Firstly the reason that I wrote this was because of an op by someone saying that we should try listening to some of the smaller less well known groups. M Milk Inc or rather ?Milk Incorporated? are a Belgian group though we may not hear much from them in the UK they are quite well known on the continent. Everyone will know doubt know the recent hit from Ian Van Dahl ? Castle?s in the sky. This is along the same lines of music that Milk Inc produce. Classed as Dance music but not quite up to this countries standards this mainly being because the style that goes down well on the continent differs slightly from the UK. Saying that though I can easily imagine some of the tracks ...

Some might dislike the fact it's almost entirely sung in Icelandic

Generally superb music - several career highlights
Confusing number of ways to buy; couple of dodgy tracks

High quality debut replicating the Children of Bodom sound.
Not as good as the obvious influences.

Late in the album, it feels slightly tired
