After really getting into Jagged Little Pill I was excitedly awaiting the release of this new album, despite hating the single Thankyou. What a disappointment, a CD full of self absorbed psychobabble. The tracks have none of the quality of those on JLP such as ironic and You Oughta Know. The single is actually the best thing on it. It will be interesting to see whether she manages to return to the brilliance of JLP on her next album Don't waste your money on it. ... Read the complete review

Too long for a bloody album name firstly. And besides that this isn't a patch on Jagged Little Pill. Nope. It just doesn't have that magic that Jagged Little Pill did. It's not bad of course, but the songs aren't as good. Apart from Thankyou of course. That's the song that saves this album. One of Alanis's best songs no doubt, but what the hell is with all the talk of transparent dangling carrots. Exsqueeze me? Anyways, besides some dodgy lyrics it rules. It's the only song on the album I bother putting it on for to be honest. The songs don't seem to fit together as well as the ones on Jagged Little Pill. To be honest I was a bit ... As always... sorry if something isn't clear on this op... it's caused by my poor english level. I'd received that Music cassette from Dooyoo-spain because I was awared in a prize. I'd received the MC today and I'd listened twice to write an op about it. I'm not an Alanis "fan". I know some of his previous songs, anyway I'd only listened the singles/hits previously. I think that this op will be interesting (I'll try to) 'cos it's done from a "casual listener" of this great artist. Sometimes "fan" opinions are too... positive. I've to say that I'm not a regular ... Read the complete review

I am not a huge Alanis fan, and only bought this album because it was reduced to £3.99 or something. I think I was aware it had got some bad reviews, but quite liked the single "Thank you". My overall impressions of the album are: 1. It is too long. At over 70 minutes, it ought to be good value, but not necessarily, because? 2. there are some pretty bad songs on here. 3. her voice sounds like a mix between Sinead O'Connor, and Margaret O'Hara (mid 80's singer, with amazingly emotional delivery - whatever happened to her?). Which is OK but I'd rather listen to Sinead O'Connor or Mary Margaret O'Hara. The ... Read the complete review

After enjoying Alanis's singles such as 'Ironic', 'Hand in my Pocket' and 'Thank You', I brought this album. The title-'Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie' should have warned me off I think! I listened and re-listened to this album many times, feeling sure I would eventually like a few of the tracks, apart from 'Thank You'. But eventually I gave up, finding it all too depressing. If she doesn't lighten up a bit in the future I can't see much of a future for her. Unless you are in need of some seriously depressing music, I would recommend you give this album a wide berth. Try 'Jagged Little ... Read the complete review

With The Beatles - The Beatles
Great music, wonderful insight into the band before they really shook the world
Not their finest album as they were still 'growing' artistically
We Were Here - Joshua Radin
Very relaxing, beautiful lyrics & very mellow.
A little monotonous at times.
Overture Of The Wicked - Iced Earth
Focus song 'Ten Thousand Strong' is a solid and memorable speed metal anthem.
Unleashes a golden shower all over Iced Earth's golden era.
Lost Tapes - Nas
Lots of big tunes
Takes a while for the bangers to come in
Love - The Beatles
It's like the Beatles have returned.
We need another album... badly.
Lionheart: Tussle With The Beast - Klashnekoff
he's from the uk, and only talks knowledge
none . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (maybe just that one song)
Hip Hop Is Dead - Nas
A few bangers
A few tracks are a little weaker than the rest
Hell Is For Heroes - Hell Is For Heroes
Finally reappearing with their 3rd album
Just not quite as good as before
1967-1970: The Blue Album - The Beatles
The Beatles At Their Most Creative
Not So Immeadeatley Catch As Their Early Work
Back To Mine - The Orb
Great chillout electro album
The electro side won't appeal to all
