After enjoying Alanis's singles such as 'Ironic', 'Hand in my Pocket' and 'Thank You', I brought this album. The title-'Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie' should have warned me off I think!

I listened and re-listened to this album many times, feeling sure I would eventually like a few of the tracks, apart from 'Thank You'. But eventually I gave up, finding it all too depressing. If she doesn't lighten up a bit in the future I can't see much of a future for her.

Unless you are in need of some seriously depressing music, I would recommend you give this album a wide berth. Try 'Jagged Little Pill' instead.
