... lyrics accompany the rousing, ska-grunge music perfectly. Of course, the emphasis on King Prawn is their dynamism, and "Someone to Hate" is one of the less wild tracks. The follow-up "No Peace" doesn't fail to satisfy with this; chunky, high-speed guitar machine-gun delivery vocals and a raging chorus. From the first time you spot this album, you know it's going to be fairly special - check out that front cover! Indeed, a bunch of jelly babies (two laughing, one crying) plunging into the chasmish depths of a blender. Kitchen appliances have never looked so menacing as now. And, similarly, King Prawn themselves are just a little unusual - how many ska/punk bands boast a singer, guitarist, drummer, bassist AND a guy on horns? Of course, it's the music that really matters, and fortunately King Prawn follow through.
