TAKE THAT AND PARTY is an album by British pop group TAKE THAT. The album consists of 13 tracks. The opening song I FOUND HEAVEN is a mellow track with corny lyrics, but good vocals with the melodies guiding the music along. ONCE YOU'VE TASTED LOVE is a song that tries to tell a story through the lyrics, but doesn't back this up with the music. IT ONLY TAKES A MINUTE is a fast paced song with a funky rhythm and a dance beat that will get you on the dance floor with a catchy chorus. MILLION LOVE SONGS is a powerful ballad which Gary Barlow sings with alot of passion and the lyrics are from the heart. SATISFIED is ... Read the complete review

I always think that if music's good, it's timeless - it doesn't matter how old it is, it will always sound good. And that's the case with this album. OK, I will admit it now - I could be classed by some as biased as I'm a HUGE Take That fan and have been for the past 16 years. And yes, it was this album that first got me hooked. But this album is BRILLIANT! Listening to it takes me back to the early 90s and it's packed full of great tunes. Here's my opinion on each song: I FOUND HEAVEN - The opening bars of this set the mood for the whole album really. It's cheerful, fun and summery and will make you feel like you're on the beach with your ghetto-blaster! ... Read the complete review

I remember this well, it was a fine moment in pop history when this came out. The world was introduced to the amazing Take That. On reflection it is clear that they have come a long way since this came out. The songs these days are a lot more mature and emotive. But this is still a solid pop release. The highlights on the album are probably It Only Takes A Minute and A Million Loves Song, the latter is a fine and worthy ballad which showcases Barlow's talents and allows his voice to really shine and develop. The rest of the album delivers some pop gems and it is a good album to play if you are about to hit the town for a night out. The artwork on the cover is ... Read the complete review

This is where my obsession began! At the age of 10, I had an awful year in 1992, then I caught sight of a song called 'I Found Heaven' and suddenly I had a smile on my face. It was a great pop song, with catchy lyrics and a catchy tune, my mum quickly informed me it was a cover song, but I didn't care! I had to get this album and see what Take That sounded like. I was not disappointed. If you like good old cheesey pop songs from boy bands then this is the album for you! The tracks are: 1. I Found Heaven 2. Once You've Tasted Love 3. It Only Takes A Minute 4. Million Love Songs 5. Satisfied 6. I Can ... Read the complete review

Heavy, fast songs, but also balanced nicely with some slower stuff, but never getting too slow
Backing vocals are irritating in places, some songs are too short to do them justice.

Powerful Lyrics, Great riffs, basslines and drums
Some themes conveyed in lyrics may not be understood by a younger audience
