It's a fun song as well, very fast and of poor sound quality just the way punk should be. This album boasts a mixture of punk, breakdown-saturated hardcor...more

With the deteriorating quality of Biohazard releases, it's not a good sign that a B-sides collection is the strongest albums of their later years. Released in 2001, there's a mix of tracks here that evidently span the band's ten-year-plus career, from early demos rooted in their original punk style to remixes of their more recent rap collaborations. As a punk fan it's the former style that interests me the most, and there's enough material here to satisfy the craving in a way that 'New World Disorder' entirely failed to. Firmly establishes the template Biohazard sound. Greater rap influence will deter some hardcore punk fans.

A strong collection of songs in an energetic performance. Punk songs aren't as well represented, and are rushed through.

Plenty of breakdowns for hardcore mosh fans. Dull, monotonous and lacking in energy.

Well Balanced, Dark Not Quite Gothic Enough

rollin hate that stupid intro

Great tunes to remember Not all great songs, and not a lot of info on the album from the sleeve

So This Is Great Britain - Holloways
A decent debut of catchy tracks Won't appeal to many who don't appreciate Indie music

Shakedown - Freemasons
Lengthy track listing with no fillers, good tunes Still lacks variety

Scouting For Girls - Scouting For Girls
A real fun album None really

Riders Of The Plague - Absence
Making melodic death metal interesting again. Still owes its sound entirely to earlier Swedish bands.

Metal Heart - Accept
Accessible pop-tinged metal that still sounds great, with a wide diversity of styles. Some inevitably terrible, awful songs.

Horrorhammer - Abscess
Fairly enjoyable mix of death metal and hardcore punk. Hugely inconsistent and lacking in substance.

Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix - Soundtrack
A solid, listenable score that is great in the film But it's all just a bit too anonymous

Capital Gold Eighties Legends
Some great tracks Some confusing choices

Abydos - Abydos
A great modern metal opera combining the best elements of the style and few of the weaknesses. The concept and lyrics themselves are far from riveting.
