There are two editions of this album. The original one and the deluxe one. My deluxe edition contains two CDs and my case smells of cotton candy. Lovely! This is a great pop album and is full of classic pop tunes from Katy. It contains the singles Teenage Dream, California Gurls, E.T, Firework, T.G.I.F and The One That Got Away. It is a great pop album and features a mix of pop, dance, RnB and Electro-Pop. The album follows a similar route to Katy's debut, focusing on tales of lost love, girls having fun and relationship troubles. Everyone can relate to AT LEAST one song on this album. I can relate to about five!

There are a few songs that stand out to me but my favourite has to be Firework. This song has a deep and meaningful message, similar to Beautiful by Christina Aguilera. It is an inspirational song that makes you feel emotional and warm at the same time. It tells you that you are a Firework, that you are special and worthwhile. That YOU have a reason to be here, that you are a Firework (you are a bright light in the night sky). The video to the song was shot in Budapest and is just as beautiful and magnificent as the song itself.

A great pop album that lifts your spirits when you feel down. A great album to play at parties and one that all ages and generations can enjoy! It isn't offensive or explicit, it's just pure FUN and pop music at it's best.

A great follow-up to her debut.
