When Adam Lazzara and John Nolan are singing lines like "A thousand clever lines, unread on clever napkins" they give the impression that they mean every damn word. Rating:

'Tell All Your Friends' is the debut album from Taking Back Sunday, it was released in 2002 through Victory Records and consists of a total of ten tracks. 34 minutes of music make up this debut release from the band, it's not exactly the finest album in the genre of emo but a pretty decent effort from the Long Island five-piece that is Taking Back Sunday nonetheless. If you like emo then you'll probably like this 'Tell All Your Friends' album; it does contain a good few tracks that are not so strong, some of the tracks present here are absolutely excellent however and well worth listening to. The album begins with the track 'You Know How I Do', this is one ...  Read the complete review

Tell All Your Friends, the debut album from Long Island rock group Taking Back Sunday, is a superb collection of tracks. The opener, You Know How I Do, sets the tone for the rest of the record, brutally honest, full of emotion and catchier than a cold. The reason this record is held in such high regard by "The Scene", is for a few simple reasons. When Adam Lazzara and John Nolan are singing lines like "A thousand clever lines, unread on clever napkins" they give the impression that they mean every damn word. Taking Back Sunday's debut album stormed into my life a little over a two years ago now, and has stayed in my frequently played pile of cds ever since. It was instant love, from the shattering start of 'You Know How I Do' to the yearning finale, 'Head Club'. Adam Lazzaras stuttering and sorrowful vocals stay strong throughout. Taking Back Sunday are an American emo/punk band. They are: Adam Lazzara – lead vocals Fred Mascherino – guitar, vocals Eddie Reyes – guitar Mark O’Connell – drums Matt Rubano – bass YOU KNOW HOW I DO ------------------------------- An energetic start to the album, with a catchy ...  Read the complete review

This is their first debut album. This band is amazing; this album has so much to it. I am seeing them in January 2006. I can't remember when I got into them, about 3-4 years ago. It is a combination of emo to grungy to nice rocky sounds. Their lyrics are passionate and heartfelt that any listener easily identifies with. Talking about love to break ups, to the how life is. ---------------------------- ALBUM SONG LIST ---------------------------- 1. You Know How I Do 2. Bike Scene 3. Some great, bouncy cheesypopmetal It was produced by EMI, without the band's input

Great music at a decent price No new original material

Modern Punk - 2004

Iconic. Fillers.

Hours of listening pleasure You might need more room on your mp3 player

Forms an important part of 80s music. A fair few ordinaty tracks to be skipped over.

Back to the Known - Bad Religion
Glorious return to the older style that still moves forward, with a few early classics. Only ten minutes long, and some songs are less fun.

United In Regret - Arsis
Excellent melodic death metal with technical guitars. A little less distinctive.

Temple Of The Cat - Ayreon
A fair overview of 'The Dream Sequencer,' if nothing else. Not Ayreon's strongest material.

Reek Of Putrefaction - Carcass
The ultimate grindcore experience. Difficult to listen to.

The Endless Agony - Anachronia
Exceptional guitars and vocals, and the other guys aren't bad either. A few later tracks fail to stand out quite as much.

Bleed - Angel Dust
Powerful vocals, high production values and an enjoyable mood. Rooted in the past with few distinguishing features.

Bach/Beethoven/Mozart - Works For Violin And Piano

Bleed For Us To Live - Gutted
Average death metal. Average death metal.

Someone To Love You - Ruff Endz
