Advantages: Great lyrics, emotional, honest, catchy

Disadvantages: Less than stellar production

Tell All Your Friends, the debut album from Long Island rock group Taking Back Sunday, is a superb collection of tracks.

The opener, You Know How I Do, sets the tone for the rest of the record, brutally honest, full of emotion and catchier than a cold. The reason this record is held in such high regard by "The Scene", is for a few simple reasons. When Adam Lazzara and John Nolan are singing lines like "A thousand clever lines, unread on clever napkins" they give the impression that they mean every damn word.

This album is packed full of cleverly written lyrics, great hooks and above anything else, honesty. Very rarely can you say that every song on an album is a killer, but in this case it is, at no point listening to this album will you get bored.

The production quality isn't all it could be, but it doesn't effect the feeling of the album too much, you're still going to finish listening to this and instantly be wanting to hit play again.

Summary: Great pop-punk/emo record
