Another really good live track off this album is American Jesus, his vocals on this one are just top notch, its almost as if it could be a edited studio recording, and after I heard this one I had so much respect for bad religion, what they do and just how good a band they really are. 1. As a fan of bad religion I was very excited when this album came out, iv never been to see them live as they mainly tour in the US, however have always wanted too and wondered if they were any good live, and to be honest listening to this you can easily forget they are playing live as they are just that good. Punk rock song at track number two must be one of their best songs played live, its one of my favourite songs from them full stop, and live its even better. They put so much energy into this fast beated track and I can only imagine how good it would have been there hearing this one live. A moment when punk met new wave and we were introduced to the powerful voice of Moyet One very disturbing track full of introverted sullen themes

Fine return to form that retains an experimental edge. Not the 'No Control' sequel that some may have hoped for.

Greg Graffin's time to shine. Melodic focus becomes a little dull.

New Wave & Post-punk - 2003

Great songs, Original Some weak links

The album consists of a number of excellent punk rock tracks. Not so strong as 'No Control' or 'Against the Grain'.

Here Are The Roses - Dragons
A couple of tracks are reasonably enjoyable, competent musicianship. The band attempts nothing new here, the music is bland and the vocal tone depressing.

In Return - Torche
The music is intelligent, the musicianship fantastc. Little use of vocals, only seven tracks.
