However with Snoop Dogg on it, you can't simply shun it for this and of course some of the lines make great impacts upon you, and make it what it is, and worth listening to. **Four Stars** 7. "Set It Off" This track has Timbo on the beats, and it is clear to see this in the way that he goes for the type of things which he had given to the likes of Ludacris, Missy Elliot and Jay-Z around this time too. Tha Last Meal - Snoop Dogg: The Last Meal For A Tired Old Dogg (692 words)

After artist formally known as Snoop Doggy Dogg made his sophomore appearance on mega producer and hip hop icon Dr Dre's album - The Chronic, the young and enthusiastic was filled with hope and prospect from hip hop heads all over the world. However after the success of Doggystyle is seemed as though the rapper was more concerned about backing Dr Dre in his career than boosting his own. The result was a long streak of disappointing LP's, which made many forget the originality, and charisma that they first saw in the rapper during his debut album. No Limit Records is label that seems to have brought the worst out of rapper Snoop Dogg. After the malice ...  Read the complete review

Snoop Dogg, previously known as Snoop Doggy Dogg, is back with his last effort under the No Limit label. With his contract almost up you'd think he would just roll out an average album. Well you'd be wrong! Snoop has still got his tight laid-back flow that rocketed him to the top of the charts with Doggystyle and the production is still as good as ever. The Intro starts off the album in a classic Snoop Dogg Style as seen in his Doggystyle album. The first track is "Hennesey N Buddah" referring to Snoop's two favourite things, expensive brandy and marajuana. Featuring Kokane, this song will have everyone up dancing. Snoop produces ...  Read the complete review

Introduction ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Snoop's latest and supposedly final album is the best album he has produced since his debut album Doggstyle hit the market back in 1992. Tha Last Meal was a highly anticipated album and many people were awaiting it with bated breath, the three previous albums to come from Snoop being less than brilliant in many areas. Tha Last Meal thankfully manages to bring Snoop back to the top of the pile in the rap world. Tha Last Meal is a cleverly made album, it charts Snoops life as a player in a metaphorical way through each track on the album, each one relating to a part of his life. Some Tracks ~~~~~~~~~~~~ ...  Read the complete review

Calvin Broadus AKA Snoop Dogg recognized by many of us by his whacky hair do’s and constantly smoking weed has really struck gold with this album. Snoop had a lot to prove with the release of this album. His first album “doggystyle” which was the first album to go to number one as a debut album, it stayed there for a few months. It spent almost a year in the charts and really kicked off Snoop’s career. His following albums weren’t as successful as doggystyle but were still great albums and sold millions. Snoop had a long wait then before releasing this album. With Dr Dre producing the album and writing many of the tunes there ...  Read the complete review

"Tha Last Meal" came out in 2000, and was Snoop Dogg's fifth album, and in light of what had happened between his own albums, this one had him back with production from Dr. Dre, amongst other big names such as Timbaland, Scott Storch and Soopafly. It was the final album with him on Maser P's No Limit Records, and following this, you can sense freedom from a tight production budget and a lack of promotion lasting until he moved on with his next release. 1. "Intro" 2. "Hennessey N Buddah" Getting the album off to a strong start you find Snoop on some nice beats from Dr. Dre which has him grooving in the ways ...  Read the complete review
