The Apostasy is Behemoth's most recent album - the 8th album of the bands and is quite a bit different from some of its predecessors. The album was recorded in Gdansk, Poland. I was interested to see how this album would be following the Egyptian themed Demigod which was pretty good fun albeit a tad corny. In true Behemoth style this album is a fusion of death and black metal that sounds like it comes from the realms of hell that even the devil daren't visit. By picturing the members of Death bludgeoning Mayhem to death (although with Mayhem's track record it is most likely to be the other way round), you go someway to imagining the base of the ...
