The Very Best of Soft Cell (2002). When Soft Cell were big, I was a young squaddie in Germany; new romance, floppy hairstyles and flamboyant clothes were not really de rigueur for young soldiers. However, I remember buying Non Stop Erotic Cabaret in 1982 and in essence, this is pretty much a re release of that album. All That I Am - Joe
Great vocals, lyrics A couple of slightly dated tracks.

Antibody - Fetish 69
It rocks, hard music with clever lyrics Not for the squeamish, fans of pop music or the blisfully ignorant

Astronomy - Dragonland
Excellent, compelling, distinctive prog-power metal. Elias Holmlid fancies himself as a soundtrack composer.

Arcane Rain Fell - Draconian
Sad, slow and heavy. Drags on, pretty much continuously.

Black Wings Of Destiny - Dragonlord
Better guitars. Still lacking in power.

Character - Dark Tranquillity
Faster. Samey.

Angel Down - Sebastian Bach
80s rock brought into the 21st century None

Angry Machines - Dio
A heavy, socially conscious effort from Dio and friends. Inferior copy of Black Sabbath's 'Dehumanizer.'

Anima Mundi - Dionysus
Good vocals. Otherwise disappointing.

Back To Times Of Splendor - Disillusion
Unique, inventive, progressive, melodic death metal. Shorter songs feel stifled by comparison.
