Advantages: An amazing band with spine tingiling vocals

Disadvantages: not their best album

This is the second album from The Audition, after loving the first album 'Controversy Loves Company' i was excited to find out what treats they had for my ears, unfortunately I was dissapointed, unlike the first album the catchy tracks had gone. To me it seemed like they were unsure as to which category their music now fit and it resulted in a mis-matched sound. The vocals have definately matured but I much prefer the first and the newest album from them, which is a shame because they are an extremely talented band that can play amazingly live.

I would say that Edinboro and bashbat are my favourite songs on the album and Make it Rain being my least favourite, it has a chorus melody similar to a Justin Timberlake song that I find quite irritating.

Overall an amazing band, and the album is definately worht a listen but judge them on their first and most recent album not this one
