Advantages: Every song is superb

Disadvantages: Not for people who don't like the odd miserable song

A classic Cd this really pushed Radiohead forward as a band who stood out from the crowd, with incredibly passionate vocals from Thom Yorke, the band's powerful thrash guitars combined with soaring vocals were a huge winner.

This CD really got me into radiohead and every song is brilliant, one of those delightful albums without a duff song on it. From Planet Telex through the soul-searching of 'Thje Bends', Thom's sorrowful vocal on 'High and Dry' and the wonderful 'Fake Plastic Trees', the lyrics are thought provoking, creating powerful imagery.

My favourite song, one i'll always remember is Just, it blows me away, the video, based on an old foreign film is unforgettable and made Radiohead for me. The album is depressing and some people view it as suicide music but as with all Thom Yorke's lyrics if you look hard enough there is light on the other side, and this album is a joy, something that doesn't age and I can always listen to from start to finish.

Summary: One of my favourite albums ever
