Advantages: Everything

Disadvantages: ???????

After recording a disappointing debut album in 'Pablo Honey', Radiohead were beginning to be seen as one hit wonders with their top 10 single 'Creep'. It seems quite poetic that their come back was to be this good.

Indeed one of the many problems with 'Pablo Honey' was the production. Yes it was the great John Leckie(Pink Floyd-The Wall)whom was the producer. Well, he makes up for lost time with this record. The production is much more distinctive and stunning on this record. Also, there are some Floyd-esque moments in songs like 'Fake Plastic Trees' and 'High and Dry', these songs show just how far the band and Leckie have improved.

This is a remarkable record and for me, contains absolutely everything. From the raw rock of 'My Iron Lung' and 'Just' to the beautuful ballads of 'Bullet Proof..' and the closing 'Street Spririt/Fade Out'. The string arrangements are stunning , Thom's voice is out of this world, as is Johnny's guitar playing.

Radiohead have here, recorded one of the classic albums of the 90s and all time. This is a must own.
Creep. Creep who?
