Advantages: All the tracks are good, Their best album, MELLOW
Disadvantages: NONE
The Bends is probably the best Radiohead album which you can get. If you like alternatiuve rock then you must own this album. Its a great mix of mellow tunes and good old rock. Tracks like 'High and Dry', 'Street Spirit' and 'Fake Plastic Tree's' are probably my fave tracks. I first really got into Radiohead thanks to one of my friends who loved them,, i already liked then but after hearing some of their albums i started to really like the band. I asked my friends 'Which album should i buy?'. He told me to get The Bends, so i did, and quite frankly, its the best album i have ever bought, as it must be one of the only albums i have ever owned or heard were i don't feel the need to skip a track. ALl of the songs on the album have some great lyrics and Thom Yorke's voice really does go well with their music. This album is unlike most of there other stuff, their later albums seemed to get a bit more electronic, still great but The Bends is pure raw Radiohead at their best. This album should go down as one of the best Rock albums ever, and should be in just about everyones music collection. I don't know loads about music but i do know this is superb, you can't go a miss spending your cash on this gem of a CD. Quality album 10/10

- 08/10/02 They are definately great albums, but with this being an early recording, well there second album, it is preat, i just think every song on here is truely great to listen too, where as those albums have a few songs that are a bit to weird to listen to unless its an appropriate situation (ie in a very intoxicated state lol) :) |

- 25/07/02 good (concise) opinion, but IMHO OK Computer, KID A and Amnesiac are much more better than The Bends. Still a great record though ! |

- 24/06/02 KID A is an offit album, i only listen to that with my mates when we are extremely stoned, and i mean at the point of PURE OFFITNESS |
