For me, the songs and music often make the difference between a good film and a magical film, and this is where Disney is so strong; they not only produce amazing stories, but also beautiful music to accompany them, which make their films so enchanting and timeless. I received this CD for Christmas last year (I had bought the very same one for my Disney-mad friend and had lamented not having a copy myself, which my mum obviously picked up on!), and it was such a fantastic gift! I love it, mainly because it is such a complete collection of Disney songs from early films such as Snow White, up to recent ones such as Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as songs ... I may be a full grown man, but I was a child in a previous life and I have always loved the Disney Films. I bought this album because I was going to visit Disney World & I thought that this was the perfect soundtrack to have on my MP3 player on the way. The Album has three CDs, with a total of 75 Disney songs on it. These have a good mixture of songs taken from Animated Classics, Pixar Films and also some from modern franchises like Hannah Montana & High School Musical. The mix is a really good one. I was browsing the shelves at my local HMV, when I spied this CD; the cover was a gorgeous aqua-blue, with an image of our world centred on the front. Surrounding it was images of several Disney characters, including some of my favourites; Simba, Minnie and Mickey, Buzz Light-year and a selection of others. I picked it up and was shocked at how thick the case was! Turning it over, I noticed that this 3-CD option was jammed packed with seventy five marvellous Disney hits!
