The album kicks off with the sublime GEORGIA ON MY MIND, runs through such fantastic tracks as FOR THE GOOD TIMES, BLUE EYES CRYING IN THE RAIN, and MONA LISA, ending up at track 17 with ALWAYS ON MY MIND. Willie Nelson is a country singer whose music I love. He started his musical career in the 1950s, and recorded his first album in 1962. His most famous period was during the 1970s but he is still going, gigging live and producing albums now, in 2008. This album includes a selection of 17 of Willie's best tracks, and I wouldn't disagree that any of them are amongst the top ranking of any country performer.
