The Block is the fifth studio album by New Kids on the Block. The album was released on September 2, 2008, along with a 2 Disc Deluxe Edition.They had initially said the album would be very different and they were not kidding this the first album I have heard from them but singles in the past have not had such an Rn B influence.An example of this is one of the singles features
a song with Neyo called Single and another from a up incoming star lady Gaga called big girl Now.
New kids are not new to the seen and had there first album in 1986 the album was self entitled.They only started doing when in the early 1990's.They broke up grew a little and released there latest album The block.
There are five boys in the band and they are Donnie Wahlberg,Danny Wood,Joey McIntyre,
Jordan Knight and finally Jonathan Knight.There are two version of the album deluxe which has an extra 5 songs and a non deluxe version that has only 13 tracks and here are the tracks.

The first single is Summertime its a really cool song and I was kind of hoping most of the songs would be like it but the album is a mixture of RNB and pop featuring The pusscatdolls,Neyo and Lady Gaga.The song with Lady Gaga Big Boy Big girl is my favourit song off the album and I use it as my ringtone.There have been compaints that the songs have to much sexual contact they might be talking about track number 8 Sexify my love which really not that bad but i'd thought i'd advice you in case there any concerned parents out there.Album is going for £8.98 there is also a delux version with five extra songs which is 2 pounds more I got the non delux version.It really is a great album and would recommend to any new kids fan or anybody for that matter.
