I agree with another bravery review that I read that said they were "similar to the killers but if you like the killers you will like the bravery". 'Fearless' is another uplifting song that they stuck in the middle of the track list and at the end they even added a bonus track called 'Hot Pursuit' that has almost a banjoey sound to the guitar. Premium Review The Bravery - The Bravery: The Bravery - An Excellent Band! (322 words)

Rating:

I came accross the bravery when there hit song 'An Honest Mistake' came out, I loved that song and decided to go and buy the album for about £9.99 but you can get it a lot cheaper now from places such as amazon and ebay. Anyway, i really liked the 'new wave' sound that they had produced on the album and all of the songs are done in a similar way. 'Unconditional' is a brilliant uplifting song to get you going, as is 'An Honest Mistake' which is also the first track on the album. All of the songs generally have a very bassy feel to them some fantastic drumming and also the synthesizer, it is a brilliant sound. Crowned Review A Brave New Order (1291 words)

A dimly lit, freezing corner of the urban metropolis of Birmingham is about as far removed as you can get from the glamour of New York Citeh but that’s where I found myself on a cold November night recently. With the gig at The Academy about to get underway I suddenly felt moved to review the band’s inaugural album knowing that it would represent nearly all of the concert (and it did). The Bravery is a 5-piece band originating from NY. The band is made up of Sam Endicott - Vocals/Guitar, Michael Zakarin – Guitar, Mike H. Great tracks, some new stuff for my collection, Heaton's voice A few more religious tracks than I'd like

Pure catchy synth-rock Killer style - stunning stuff Very hard to find - I suppose those two weak tracks, but every album has weak spots.

Several memorable selections At times a bit over-produced

A couple of great tracks Horrible instrumentals all the way through, far too expensive

It's got the original; it's a bit of group history Whose biggest hits?

Who Dares Wins - Bolt Thrower
Affordable chance to hear early material, showcasing different eras of the band. Becomes dull after the first E.P., and live recording is shoddy.

Those Once Loyal - Bolt Thrower
Brilliant riffs, songwriting, production, and artwork None whatsoever

Realm Of Chaos - Bolt Thrower
Excellent individual songs contributing to a death metal classic. Drums are still a weak point.

Mercenary - Bolt Thrower
Some band members decided to return. Lazy, lacking and lethargic.

In Battle There Is No Law - Bolt Thrower
Classic British death metal. Lacks originality and distinctiveness.

Honour Valour Pride - Bolt Thrower
Improvement over 'Mercenary.' Still suffers from the same problems.

For Victory - Bolt Thrower
More solid Bolt Thrower. Nothing we haven't heard before.

A Different Kind Of Tension - Buzzcocks
Good third album and variety of songs A bit too clever

4th Crusade - Bolt Thrower
Further refines the style. Stuck in a rut.

Peel Sessions - Bolt Thrower
Revealing overview of Bolt Thrower's early evolution. Inferior sound quality to studio releases.
