Advantages: Good Listen ! Different Style of Music !

Disadvantages: Album is too short ! !

I came accross the bravery when there hit song 'An Honest Mistake' came out, I loved that song and decided to go and buy the album for about £9.99 but you can get it a lot cheaper now from places such as amazon and ebay. Anyway, i really liked the 'new wave' sound that they had produced on the album and all of the songs are done in a similar way.

'Unconditional' is a brilliant uplifting song to get you going, as is 'An Honest Mistake' which is also the first track on the album. All of the songs generally have a very bassy feel to them some fantastic drumming and also the synthesizer, it is a brilliant sound. I agree with another bravery review that I read that said they were
"similar to the killers but if you like the killers you will like the bravery". 'Fearless' is another uplifting song that they stuck in the middle of the track list and at the end they even added a bonus track called 'Hot Pursuit' that has almost a banjoey sound to the guitar. It is a really original, uplifting album that has been carefully produced down to the finest details.

The lyrics are generally related to 'love' but then they throw songs like 'Public Service Anouncement' in where he is telling you what to do if catch fire, "stop, drop and roll".

I went to see the bravery in concert at the Manchester Apollo and they played a few new tracks off there upcoming album and they are slightly different to this album, more guitary rather than synth and almost more serious. They put a lot of effort in whilst on stage when I went to see them and the album sounded as good there as on my iPod.

Excellent debut album let hope they can keep it up!
