British and Asian volumes but the majority are US-based bands, the most common topic of lyrics is teenage love and it re-appears throughout the album but the way that different Artists approach it is pretty interesting, the album starts off strongly with The Darby Sisters "Just Go Back To Your Pontiac" a highly well-written track about a girl who is annoyed with her boyfriend because his car is unreliable and he spends all the time fixing it, she gives him an ultimatum - her or the car. The second track is not quite as good as the starter but the 3rd track on the album is Lindy Lane s "Low Grades and High Fever", an upbeat cool track with a bite of ...

The blues is represented in its Various guises on here, for instance Charley Patton s 34 Blues , Blind Lemon Jefferson s Black Snake Moan and Robert Johnson s Come On In My Kitchen have that chain gang droning howl about them, whereas Blind Boy Fuller provides us with some captivating ragtime blues in Rag Mama Rag , Get Your Yas Yas Out , and Sweet Honey Hole . which if you haven t heard it before will become all too familiar; 2) "Can You Feel It?" by The Jacksons has been used by a lot of Artists of late, but this original version gives the full family effect here by the original Michael Jackson and his brothers. I ve always liked this song but I never really felt alongside other songs in their discography that it s the best that could well be applied on here. And, as I did say at the beginning, "Feel The Force," really does set the style here, because this song doesn t have any "outer space" electric keyboards used here to add colour.
