The songs do sound similar but there are still some that outshine the others. Pay close attention to Whitewash is Brainwash and Lighthouse Keeper. The album has slightly hippy feel to it and is a good uplifting listen. I recently saw Get Cape Wear Cape Fly live at a local gig and they are also amazing live, I would recommend both lis...more

I've had the song I Spy on my iTunes for a long time and really enjoyed it so I thought I would give the album a listen to and it was a good choice to make. Premium Review Whitewash Is Brainwash (646 words)

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly is Southend's Sam Duckworth. The man writes powerful acoustic music and is influenced by the likes of Roni Size, Athlete, The Streets, and Rival Schools; quite an eclectic mix of influences really. Released in 2006, 'The Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager' is his début album and consists of twelve excellent tracks. Many times I have listened to this album, it is not the best in the world but a good one nonetheless. For me this album is containing of some obvious highlights. The tracks 'I-Spy', 'Whitewash Is Brainwash', and 'The Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager (Part Two)' for instance have a distinctly long lasting impact on me and I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager - Get Cape Wear Cape Fly: So This One's For The Friends (906 words)

It seems almost criminal that Sam Duckworth, aka Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, seems to have passed so many people by. The singer songwriter from Southend is an incredible talent and this, his debut album, only serves to further that boast. His name seems to have been all over the musical press since the release of Chronicles of A Bohemian Teenager and from the first listen it isn’t exactly hard to see why he is garnishing such a reputation. In truth since the release of the album back in September 2006, he should really have gotten more radio play. With a wide range of influences from the likes of Lemon Jelly and Blur to At The Drive In, Duckworth draws his ...  Read the complete review

Full of Oasis attitude and quality Very little new matereal here.

A throughly decent album with a couple of tracks everyone will love, nice and layed back A couple of tracks that a lot of people might not be so keen on,

The first half of the album is packed full of promise The second half of the album is a massive bore

it's Radiohead! Too experimental?

Amazing variety of different styles. A couple of average songs.
