One of my favourite female singers from the eighties, this album gathers some of Kim's biggest hits and gives you the chance to relive those glorious pop moments. Who: Initially a wild punk kid with attitude, before taming herself and becoming a staple part of the eighties brat pack along with Kylie and Jason. On this album: 'You Keep Me Hanging On' might well be a cover, but she pulls it off with bravado. An energetic europop workout which builds and builds. Pouring through my record collection of late which has been untouched and with some of my old CD albums of New Order I discovered a very old but worthy 1980’s pop chick who still, I believe stirs the souls of many a man my age who fell for her charms, but does well in her new world of getting her fingers deep in the soil and raising a few shoots... I am of course referring to Kim Wilde, a British singer known best for her soft rock and disco type songs in the 1980’s and middle of the 1990’s.
