Being an intelligent label, and never one to miss out on an opportunity to cash in on a legend, they kindly compiled this scatterbrained collection of zany Pixies B-sides for our grateful consumption. Wahey! Now we don't have to buy all the singles... aaaaaw. Yeah, this is a B-sides compilation, but because it's the Pixies it manages to be tonnes better than most other bands' A-side output. The songs which aren't just different versions of album tracks are not what I'd call standard Pixies tunes. I think this is because they're mostly early songs, and they come across quite rough and brash. The covers, namely, "I've Been Waiting For You", "Winterlong", and "Evil Hearted You", are ...
